About the Elite Draft League

The San Diego Area's Elite Draft League combines structured, high-level competition with a draft-style team selection process.

After an evaluation skate open to all interested players and goaltenders, team captains will hold a private, snake-style draft to form teams.

Our 2026 season of 10 regular season games plus playoffs features 4 teams representing different regions of the San Diego metro area. Most scheduled games are on Saturdays at 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM (excluding tournament weekends).

$25 fee to be draft eligible and join the evaluation skate so team captains who are drafting can get to know you

Important Dates & Info

Draft Registration Deadline: April 3, 2026
Draft Evaluation Skate: Saturday, April 4 at 6:00 PM
Season Start Date: Saturday, May 9 at 7:30 PM
League Dues: $240 per drafted player
Uniform Dues: $58 per drafted player (personalized jersey and pants), $30 per drafted goalie (jersey only)
